American Greetings, the 112-year-old global leader in greeting cards with 20,000+ employees, faced a benefits challenge after a prior administration system delivered technical failures, poor service, and slow or inaccurate responses — a major problem for many manufacturing associates with limited break time. To simplify and personalize the experience, American Greetings selected Businessolver and its Benefitsolver benefits administration platform.

Businessolver implemented the configurable Benefitsolver system and supported a full communications rollout — including a new benefits brand, custom online graphics, and a print newsletter — to improve usability and engagement. As a result, a majority of associates now feel comfortable enrolling online, 41% reported a better Annual Enrollment experience, and American Greetings achieved record-high participation in its wellness program with associates using Benefitsolver to track progress and claim credits.
