iWatcher partnered with Business Automatics to improve the experience of its cellular car alarm system. The challenge was that the out-of-the-box solution could only send basic SMS status updates to one registered phone number, which made the user experience limited and inconvenient for car owners who wanted to manage their vehicles from anywhere in the world.

Business Automatics developed a mobile application for iOS and Android that gave users full remote control and real-time visibility into their vehicles. The app supported live map location, speed-limit alerts, tilt and tow notifications, battery warnings, ignition blocking, arming/disarming, and driving/parking status, with communication handled via GPRS or SMS. The result was a far more comfortable, globally accessible solution, though no specific measurable metrics were provided.
