ITS, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of professional power tools and related products, faced the challenge of merchandising a large catalogue and surfacing the most relevant items for each visitor. They needed a flexible, fast way to test and launch personalized content across their ecommerce site, so ITS partnered with Bunting and its website personalization product to deliver algorithmic, visitor‑level product recommendations.
Using Bunting, ITS ran A/B tests on different recommendation types and placements (cross‑sells vs similar items), quantities, and display formats (with or without titles/pricing), with recommendations personalized to each visitor’s history. Bunting’s implementation drove higher engagement and measurable business impact for ITS: +4.4% revenue, +2.6% conversions, +1.5% visit duration and +2.9% product views.
