A Bullseye Locations Case Study
Thanks Again, a growing loyalty rewards provider, needed a way to promote several thousand newly enrolled airport merchants to travelers who often lack easy web access. To solve this, Thanks Again worked with Bullseye Locations, leveraging their existing Bullseye web locator and mobile store locator software API to create a location-aware iPhone app that would automatically connect subscribers to participating merchants within airports.
Bullseye Locations built a REST API to expose the existing merchant data, designed the app UI/graphics, developed the Objective-C app, and supported Thanks Again through App Store approval—eliminating duplicate data entry and doubling the return on the prior technology investment. The integrated app launched with 3,206 merchants in over 100 airports, was downloaded hundreds of times before marketing, has received positive feedback, and is projected to reach 5,000 subscribers in the first 12 months; Thanks Again is also planning additional features and an Android release.
