A Bullhorn Case Study
LaborMAX Staffing is a contingent light-industrial staffing firm founded in 2002 with 105 locations across 31 states. When CIO/CFO Shane Glavin joined in 2018, a stalled Bullhorn implementation—caused by limited understanding of the platform and no internal infrastructure—left the company struggling to modernize operations and scale.
LaborMAX shifted from a vendor relationship to a strategic partnership with Bullhorn, created an internal “Evolve” team, launched LaborMAX University for training, and built a tech ecosystem using TonicHQ, Sense, Checkr and CloudCall. The phased rollout and “value plus one” investment strategy turned Bullhorn into the equivalent of an extra account manager per office, delivering $3.5 million in savings and positioning the company to grow its bottom line by about 40% without increasing top-line revenue.
