IDEX Consulting wanted to transition from a contingent to a retained recruiting model and needed a way to prove the value of the change to both clients and consultants. Using Bullhorn Analytics and Bullhorn Automation, the firm sought better data to demonstrate faster, higher-quality hiring and to help consultants focus on the roles that mattered most.
Bullhorn helped IDEX Consulting customize talent pools for each client and use analytics to show stronger CV-to-interview and interview-to-placement ratios under the retained model. The impact was significant: clients typically received around three strong CVs instead of 10 to 12 weaker ones, consultants shifted away from 80% non-revenue-generating work, and job fill rates rose from a typical 10% to 15% in contingent recruiting to 80% to 90% under the retained model, with some consultants reaching 100% fill rates.
