HCS Healthcare is a mid-size, national healthcare workforce solutions firm that places clinical and non-clinical staff and executives. In 2015 HCS integrated SkillSurvey Reference with their Bullhorn ATS & CRM to automate reference requests, use more than 170 job-specific surveys, and enable mobile responses. The change let recruiters request checks in about a minute, run checks earlier in the process, and scale outreach—resulting in references returned 30–40% faster, double the number of candidates they can screen, an average of 3.1 references per candidate, over 17,000 candidates entered in two years, and a passive candidate database with a high share of manager-level prospects.
