Davisville Church, a long-standing congregation in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, faced fragmented, paper-based HR processes that made accountability and accurate PTO tracking difficult. Executive Pastor Dave Mathewson needed an affordable, scalable solution to replace personal paper calendars and manual timesheets so managers could differentiate vacation, sick, and personal leave, keep balances current, and ensure staff were actually using their earned time off. They chose Built for Teams, initially deploying PTO Tracking (and later Timesheets).
Built for Teams implemented a centralized staff calendar, configurable PTO policies, an org chart, and digital timesheets with hands-on support for a smooth rollout. The result was immediate visibility into who was out and why, clearer approval workflows, far fewer paper timesheets and follow-ups, and better enforcement and utilization of PTO—delivering improved accountability and an affordable, scalable HR foundation that continues to evolve with Built for Teams’ ongoing product updates.
