CW Connects - Customer Case Study

The customer, CW Connects (a division of ColonialWebb), a large commercial mechanical provider, faced a significant internal communication challenge. With over 1,000 employees, half of whom lacked company email and worked in the field, their email-based system failed to reach everyone, leading to inconsistent messaging. To solve this, they turned to the vendor Buildfire to develop a mobile app.

Buildfire implemented the CW Connects app, which provided a direct communication channel to all employees via their personal phones. The solution dramatically improved engagement, with over 5,300 downloads and 385,000+ push notifications sent. It eliminated time-consuming daily meetings for construction crews, streamlined onboarding, and was hailed as a "huge time-saver" and a cultural "game changer" for the entire workforce.
