Goodall Homes is a Nashville-based builder that grew from 400 to 500 starts in 2015 while operating a lean staff of about 90 people across 23 communities. The company needed to coordinate dozens of model homes, dozens of subs and thousands of purchase orders while protecting margins and keeping tight control of costs and schedules as it scaled production.

Goodall implemented BuilderMT’s Workflow Management Suite and Trade Portal, integrated with Sales Simplicity, Sage 300 CRE and Punchlist Manager, to link master schedules, purchase orders and field approvals in a single database. The system lets the field approve work and trigger payments, produces real-time gross-profit reporting for each start, minimizes variance POs with weekly reporting and has saved hundreds of staff hours—enabling accurate cost tracking and consistent margins across 500 starts.
