Edward Andrews Homes, a rapidly growing Atlanta-area builder, expanded from just 2 starts in 2008 to 500 planned starts in 2017 across single-family and townhome communities at diverse price points. That scale exposed the limits of its legacy software—systems couldn’t support its customer-centric processes, BIM workflows, or enterprise accounting—so the company needed a more flexible, integrated technology approach.
Edward Andrews implemented a best-of-breed stack—BuilderMT, Sales Simplicity, CG Visions, Punchlist Manager and Microsoft NAV (with Western Computer)—to integrate workflow, sales, BIM-based estimating and accounting. The result was faster, more flexible operations, better reporting and control, and strong cost performance: 100% of townhome projects and 98% of single-family projects are now at or under budget after full roll-out.
