How Cornell University’s online learning platform manages & acts on 1000s of pages of content

eCornell, Cornell University’s online learning platform, needed a cloud-based way to manage internal QA across thousands of moving parts in its STEM courseware. With 90+ online programs and fast time-to-market demands, the team needed a flexible bug tracking solution to keep technical testing and review cycles organized for its Canvas-based courses and embedded tools. BugHerd was the vendor used.

Using BugHerd’s browser extension, eCornell tagged and tracked issues directly on specific pages and tools during two QA stages, helping QA, instructional designers, and content specialists collaborate more efficiently. BugHerd became an essential part of the workflow, improving clarity and flexibility and helping avoid potential issues on at least one project, saving an estimated several days of back-and-forth communication and bug fixing.
