Social Steps, a social fitness app, needed to build their application on an extremely tight two-month schedule. A major challenge was efficiently testing and debugging the complex integration with Apple’s HealthKit and resolving issues that occurred when the app ran in the background. They turned to the vendor Bugfender and its remote logging service to help them quickly identify and root out these specific problems.

Using Bugfender's remote logger, the development team was able to drill down into logs from individual user devices, which provided the insight needed to track down and fix the issues. This enabled them to meet their tight development schedule. As a result, within a year of launch, the app was downloaded approximately 3,000 times and achieved an average rating of 4.7 across
