SEEK expands security coverage across 19 countries with Bugcrowd

SEEK, Australia's leading employment marketplace, needed to improve its security testing practices to protect its diverse technology stack and highly sensitive user data. Their challenge was to create a consolidated channel for vulnerability reporting and gain wider testing coverage beyond their existing controls. To address this, SEEK partnered with the vendor Bugcrowd to implement a Bug Bounty Program.

Bugcrowd's solution provided SEEK with a crowdsourced security program, which began as a private bounty before evolving into a public one. This approach enabled SEEK to identify recurring patterns of vulnerabilities, which allowed them to establish secure defaults and prevent entire classes of issues.
