SCCU needed to replace multiple learner management systems with a single, joined-up digital platform to support growth in a highly regulated apprenticeship sector. Their existing setup relied on paper-based enrolment, manual data entry, and spreadsheets, creating inefficiencies and a risk of administrative errors. SCCU chose Bud Systems and its end-to-end platform to help modernize and streamline delivery.

Bud Systems implemented rigid, ESFA-compliant workflows, electronic signatures, and a fully integrated digital process for learners, employers, and tutors. The result was reduced administration, fewer mistakes, better compliance, improved efficiency, and cost savings. SCCU also used Bud Systems’ data warehouse and Power BI integration to build reporting for senior leaders, and the platform helped support remote delivery during lockdown while SCCU grew its numbers and achieved a Grade 2 from Ofsted.
