UT Federal Credit Union was struggling with a manual, paper-based employee recognition system that was difficult to track across Tennessee and harder still once staff began working remotely. Searching for a better solution, UT Federal Credit Union found and launched Bucketlist’s automated rewards and recognition platform (including a phone app) in December 2019 to strengthen culture and simplify point tracking.

Bucketlist delivered a smooth rollout and rapid adoption: the platform made recognition visible in real time, became part of personnel reviews, and is used for annual awards (winners receive a couple thousand points). Usage surged—some employees who barely used the system one year gave over 100 recognitions the next—creating constant peer acknowledgement, stronger onboarding, and a measurable boost in engagement that UT Federal Credit Union attributes to Bucketlist.
