Mazda strengthens team relationships with btrax’s 13-member bootcamp

Mazda faced the challenge of adapting to major shifts in the automotive industry, including the rise of electric vehicles, and needed to develop new value propositions to improve customer satisfaction in North America. To address this, they engaged the vendor btrax for market research and design thinking workshops.

btrax implemented an immersive bootcamp for Mazda's team, facilitating fieldwork at tech companies and providing workshops on the design thinking process. This approach helped the team generate and refine new business ideas. As a result, the participants strengthened their internal relationships and used the gained insights to rapidly accelerate new product development for Mazda's first EV, the MX-30.
