Lenco PMC, a precision plastic design manufacturer, needed to regain ISO 9001 certification without adding staff or piling on paperwork. The company also wanted to streamline operations, optimize its assets and personnel, and create a path toward paperless operations. BSI provided the ISO 9001 certification, training services, and its Entropy software as part of a total solutions package.

With BSI’s Solutions Package and Entropy software, Lenco PMC was able to implement and configure a quality management system in just six months, despite rewriting all of its ISO 9001 documentation. The software centralized documents, drawings, audits, and non-conformance tracking, improved workflow across three shifts, and helped create a searchable permanent record for quality issues. BSI also trained ten employees, enabling Lenco PMC to run self-audits and drive continual improvements, with the company reporting much simpler audits and broader employee adoption of the system.
