Lettergold Plastics Ltd Shows How Certification to ISO 22301 Can Boost Small Firms as Well as Large Organizations

Lettergold Plastics Ltd, a small long-established engineering manufacturer, needed to meet tender requirements, strengthen resilience, and reassure customers that it had effective business continuity plans in place. Working with BSI, the company pursued certification to ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management, building on earlier management system certifications to support growth and customer confidence.

BSI helped Lettergold implement a practical BCM system with incident management plans, staff training, testing of alternative suppliers, and a review of critical utilities such as water and electricity backup. The result was improved ability to win new business, faster recovery confidence, better stakeholder reassurance, and a stronger risk management mindset, including identifying a second water supply and backup power and discovering that an alternative supplier would add about two weeks to lead time and some shipping costs.
