ISO/IEC 27001 and CSA STAR Certification Enable Cirrity to Better Compete with the World’s Largest Cloud Service Providers

Cirrity, a channel-only cloud service provider, needed to strengthen its security posture, meet growing demand for globally recognized certification, and better compete with larger cloud providers. To support its move upmarket, Cirrity turned to BSI to pursue ISO/IEC 27001 certification and CSA STAR certification, while also streamlining its company-wide auditing requirements.

BSI guided Cirrity through certification with a business-aware audit approach that helped formalize and mature its security program. The results included Cirrity becoming the first cloud service provider in the U.S. to earn CSA STAR certification, improved flexibility and transparency, lower and simpler audit costs through combined certifications, and a stronger market differentiator that helped win new business against larger competitors.
