Husky Injection Moulding Systems wins Tier 3 CTPAT status with BSI and boosts supplier response rates above 50%

Husky Injection Moulding Systems sought to elevate its supply chain security to best practice levels and achieve a higher Tier 3 accreditation within the CTPAT program. The challenge was to more frequently assess its supply chain to stay compliant with evolving requirements, mitigate risks like hijacking, and instill greater trust in its brand. To meet this challenge, Husky partnered with vendor BSI.

BSI implemented a comprehensive strategy utilizing their Connect SCREEN data tool to provide enriched risk data. The solution involved managing supplier assessments, providing consultancy, conducting facility audits, and delivering security training. As a result, Husky was successfully awarded Tier 3 CTPAT status, achieved a more than 50% response rate from suppliers on assessments, and increased its identification of security risks while requiring fewer resources to manage suppliers.
