HP Software Professional Services Global Delivery Centre India, part of HP, needed to strengthen information security across its offshore and onsite delivery operations. After a BSI pre-assessment audit, the team realized its temporarily onsite staff also needed to be brought into scope and aligned with customer and HP security requirements, with a focus on managing risks around confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

BSI helped HP implement an ISO 27001 information security management system, including onsite controls for human resources security, communications and operations management, access control, incident management, business continuity, and compliance. As a result, HP improved security awareness, reduced exposure to breaches, strengthened compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and HP’s Standards of Business Conduct, and gained greater customer confidence and market differentiation.
