A BSI Case Study
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the UK statutory regulator for 16 health and care professions, needed a better way to manage its quality and information security standards while supporting day-to-day work. BSI helped HCPC move beyond a paper-based, ad hoc approach to ISO 9001 by introducing Entropy, with the aim of making quality management more integrated and easier for staff to use.
With BSI’s Entropy solution, HCPC gained workflow automation to route tasks across the organization with reminders and escalation chains, making it easier to capture improvement ideas and share them through the management chain. The result was a more usable, centralized system that supports ISO 9001 management and prepares HCPC for ISO 27001, though the case study does not provide specific numerical metrics.
