How Cobham Antenna Systems Benefits From Entropy

Cobham Antenna Systems, a subsidiary of Cobham Plc, is a UK-based leader in communication systems and navigation equipment. To strengthen its safety, health and environmental performance and move from internal “Level 1” status toward external certification, the company needed a way to unify fragmented management processes across multiple standards. BSI’s Entropy platform was used to support this effort.

BSI implemented Entropy as a fully integrated management system covering audit, documentation, reporting, tracking, analysis, archiving and security. The result was faster, more consistent incident management and better visibility of low-level hazards, helping Cobham Antenna Systems raise hazard reports to more than 250 in 2013 and cut injuries at its Marlow site to just 4 minor cases, down from 16 in 2011 and 9 in 2012.
