A BSI Case Study
Hanlock-Causeway Company, a Tulsa-based manufacturer of refractory anchorage hardware, wanted to become the first U.S. company in its industry to achieve ISO 9001 certification. The goal was to strengthen its quality reputation, win larger project orders from customers that prefer certified suppliers, and create a better system for tracking and improving its quality management processes.
BSI provided ISO 9001 certification for Hanlock-Causeway’s Tulsa facility, with a local auditor who helped assess the company’s operations and identify improvement opportunities. As a result, Hanlock-Causeway standardized work processes, improved in-process inspections and corrective actions, reduced errors and wasted materials, and saw increased buy-in across the organization along with a rise in project orders and business from larger customers.
