Glasgow Airport Prepare for the Unexpected With Business Continuity Management Training

Glasgow Airport, the eighth busiest airport in the UK, needed to ensure its business continuity management system could be audited against the new ISO 22301 standard. After previously certifying to BS 25999 and operating in a high-scrutiny environment, the airport turned to BSI for ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems training, specifically Lead Auditor training, to prepare its team for the transition.

BSI provided Lead Auditor training that gave Glasgow Airport’s assurance team the tools and knowledge to audit more efficiently and confidently against ISO 22301. As a result, the airport improved the consistency of its audits, used standardized nonconformity reporting and corrective-action tracking, and strengthened confidence that its business continuity plans are ready if disruption occurs.
