BSI’s Kitemark Helps National Car Body Repair Network Win Two New Contracts and Reassure Customers Over Vehicle Safety

Pentagon Group, a UK motor vehicle dealer and accident repair network, needed to protect its reputation, meet legislative requirements, improve resilience, and ensure safe, best-practice vehicle repairs. To support its goal of winning approved repairer status with major insurers, Pentagon Group turned to BSI and the BSI Kitemark for Vehicle Damage Repair (PAS 125).

BSI implemented PAS 125 across Pentagon Group’s repair sites, starting with a pilot at Burton and then rolling the system out across the wider network after training, gap analysis, and equipment/process improvements. The result was BSI Kitemark certification for six sites, approval from two national insurance companies, improved efficiency and fewer mistakes, plus stronger customer trust and new business opportunities with insurers, manufacturers, and fleet companies.
