The City of Woodstock, Georgia, a municipality serving about 30,000 residents, needed fully integrated municipal financial management software with one database to improve reporting, utility billing, overtime handling, and overall efficiency. After reviewing seven providers, including Tyler Munis, New World, and SpringBrook, the city selected BS&A Software because it could demonstrate complete functionality, seamless GIS integration, customization, and responsive support.

BS&A Software implemented its Municipal Financial Management suite, replacing unstable legacy systems and adding stronger general ledger, import/export, payroll, budget, bank reconciliation, and positive pay capabilities. The City of Woodstock reported faster month-end close, paperless finance operations, improved accuracy and efficiency, and easier year-end processing, and said the implementation earned a 90% grade overall with no audit comments or conversion issues.
