The City of Brainerd used BS&A Software’s municipal financial management application and was in the middle of a software migration when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the project into a remote environment. Their main concerns were internet connectivity and helping a few staff members get comfortable with the new system.

BS&A Software worked closely with the city’s IT staff to resolve issues as they came up and keep the implementation on track. The remote rollout was viewed as just as successful as an onsite implementation, with 60 users supported and the city reporting a great overall experience and strong confidence in BS&A Software’s support.
