Children’s Fairyland, a nonprofit amusement park in Oakland, CA, needed to modernize its outdated, entirely in-person ticketing system. The park had no online sales capability, leading to long lines and operational bottlenecks, a challenge that became critical during the pandemic. To update their process for their Fairy Winterland event, they partnered with Brushfire for its event management platform.
Brushfire implemented its cloud-based ticketing solution, which provided online point-of-sale capability, a user-friendly interface, and personalized support. This allowed the park to sell advance tickets with time slots, drastically reducing walk-up sales. The results were transformative: pre-sale tickets, which were previously only 15% of sales, grew to 80-90% of all ticket sales, inverting their previous sales model and ensuring a successful event.
