Caterpillar, a Fortune 50 heavy machinery manufacturer, faced a challenge in ensuring the safety and qualification of its vast global network of contractors. Following several incidents, they urgently needed to implement a best-in-class contractor safety program to mitigate risk and extend their safety culture to all third-party workers. They partnered with BROWZ to develop and scale this new supplier qualification and management program.

BROWZ implemented a flexible solution, including a new weighted "Score Card" measurement system, and provided dedicated support to onboard and educate contractors. This collaboration resulted in contractor compliance rising from 25% to approximately 80% within the first year. Over the following years, BROWZ helped Caterpillar achieve a consistently decreasing injury rate among its contractors, significantly reducing risk.
