Case Study: LeanIX achieves 14x more frequent product releases with BrowserStack Automate

A BrowserStack Case Study

Preview of the LeanIX Case Study

LeanIX Ships New Product Releases up to 14x more often by Using BrowserStack Automate

LeanIX, an enterprise architecture management company with a modern Angular SPA frontend and Java microservices backend, struggled with slow, error-prone manual cross‑browser testing that constrained their two‑week release cadence. Although they used Protractor for Chrome and Firefox, they couldn’t reliably automate Internet Explorer or scale coverage, so they evaluated BrowserStack and its Automate service to address cross‑browser automated testing needs.

By adopting BrowserStack Automate (and BrowserStack Live for debugging), LeanIX now runs automated tests every three hours and executes over 400 tests per day in about 20 minutes, with test logs, videos, and debugging tools available out of the box. BrowserStack helped LeanIX move from releasing once every two weeks to daily releases (a 14x increase), reduce bugs, increase stability and test coverage, and accelerate progress toward continuous delivery.
