ConsumerAffairs Builds QA Team on the Back of BrowserStack Automate

ConsumerAffairs, a growing consumer protection and marketplace company (~200 employees), needed to rapidly build and train a QA team while working with a tight budget and unreliable crowdsourced testing that produced many false positives. They required automated, parallel cross‑browser and regression testing — a gap they filled by moving their testing operations to BrowserStack, initially using manual Live testing and then adopting BrowserStack Automate for full automation.

Using BrowserStack Automate and an internally developed test framework, ConsumerAffairs now runs hundreds of nightly parallel tests, covers about 15 browser combinations, and scaled their QA team fourfold. BrowserStack helped them catch three times as many bugs and speed up releases by 2x, delivering faster, more confident deployments and greater testing coverage.
