Catapult Connected Places launches city innovation tool in 4-day Design Sprint with Browser London

Catapult Connected Places partnered with Browser London to develop a new digital procurement tool. Their challenge was to help city officials, SMEs, and stakeholders better understand and engage with city-led innovation activities, enabling them to make more informed decisions and involve SMEs earlier in the product development process.

Browser London employed a user-centric approach, beginning with a Design Sprint 2.0 to align multiple stakeholders rapidly. They developed the tool using an agile methodology and created a topology toolkit to guide city pairings. The outcome was a simple, easy-to-use platform designed to foster job creation, global access, and lasting innovation collaborations between cities, ultimately aiming to drive urban innovation and sustainable economic development worldwide.
