A Brosix Case Study
Kubuntu Forums, represented by Global moderator GreyGeek, needed a reliable, Linux-friendly communication and remote-support tool to replace Skype. They tested Brosix (Brosix for Linux and its web client) in a 30-minute experiment to evaluate screen sharing, remote control, audio/video, text chat and file transfer.
Brosix delivered easy-to-start screen sharing and remote mouse/keyboard control, seamless reconnection after a client crash, successful file transfers and low-latency control—enabling effective remote support of Linux users (with only a VM-related audio/video limitation). The Kubuntu Forums review concluded Brosix can replace Skype on Linux and materially improved their ability to troubleshoot and support users.
