RocketSpace - Customer Case Study

RocketSpace is a San Francisco tech accelerator and co‑working space that houses more than 100 fast‑growing media and technology startups. Facing an ad hoc campus LAN across 42,000 sq ft and nearly 500 desks, the company needed a reliable, platform‑agnostic, high‑performance network to support mobile apps, VoIP, protocol development and security testing; after slow vendor response, RocketSpace turned to Brocade via a tweet to find a better solution.

RocketSpace deployed Brocade NetIron CES 2000 edge routers and ten Brocade FCX Layer 2/3 switches to deliver 200 Mbps aggregate, fully redundant connectivity with robust PoE, VLAN segmentation and simplified management. The new infrastructure boosted network performance, reduced operational costs, provided consistent, scalable connectivity for hundreds of tenants, enabled advanced applications, and has run reliably with responsive Brocade support as RocketSpace prepares further expansion.
