Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel, a 400‑room, full‑service casino in Iowa with about 1,200 employees, faced an aging, patchwork LAN built from multiple vendors that caused frequent bottlenecks, slow email and file saves, spam and even IP spoofing. The 10‑person IT team was overwhelmed by performance issues and lacked the visibility and security controls needed to support 24/7 gaming and hotel operations.

The casino deployed a Brocade core (FastIron SuperX), 24 FastIron GS edge switches and IronView Network Manager, upgrading to a 10‑Gigabit fiber backbone and Gigabit to each desktop with VLANs and PoE support.
