Beyond Hosting, founded in 2007, provides high-performance hosting and managed services to roughly 5,600 customers—from single-page sites to multi-server businesses, many in Internet advertising and analytics. Rapid customer growth pushed its legacy network to the breaking point: capacity requests couldn’t be handled quickly, performance lagged, and the company needed a scalable, reliable, and easy-to-manage infrastructure to preserve service levels and support new offerings.

Beyond Hosting migrated to a Brocade Ethernet fabric (VDX 8770, VCS Fabric, DCX backbones), virtualizing the environment to enable plug-and-play scaling, faster deployments, and on-demand bandwidth. The new fabric delivered 10 Gbps across the data center with painless upgrades to 40/100 Gbps, cut network costs by more than half versus traditional STP, maintained fast response times and high customer satisfaction, and provided a foundation for VDI, SaaS/IaaS expansion and future SDN/SAN initiatives.
