Codero Hosting, an Austin‑based provider of dedicated, cloud and On‑Demand Hybrid hosting for high‑demand websites and apps, needed a “data center of the future” that would let customers scale quickly without manual intervention. The team faced challenges from slow, manual provisioning, isolated resource pockets, and a requirement for automation, virtualization and multitenancy to deliver on‑demand services and “no human allowed” provisioning.

Codero deployed Brocade VDX 6740 switches with Brocade VCS Fabric technology and integrated them with its provisioning platform via fabric‑level REST APIs. The self‑forming, self‑healing fabric enabled zero‑touch, multitenant provisioning and support for all‑flash storage, cutting hybrid service provisioning from days or weeks to minutes, increasing agility, reducing manual work and giving Codero the flexibility to align network and compute resources on demand.
