Médiaperformances, France’s leader in shopper media, faced the challenge of launching and centrally managing ShopperCast, an ad-driven in-store digital network across Carrefour hypermarkets that required a content management system able to handle the specific operational and data needs of a retail advertising business. The goal was to place high-impact screens at store entrances and deliver a mix of store information and brand advertising to influence purchase decisions made in-store.
They selected Broadsign’s DOOH platform to power an initial rollout of 200 55" LED totems in 150 Carrefour stores, with content split roughly one-third for store info and two-thirds for brand ads from clients like Danone, Nestlé and Coca‑Cola. The Broadsign solution improved network efficiency and flexibility, and measured campaigns produced up to a 15% sales increase, capitalizing on the fact that 68% of purchase decisions occur in-store.
