A Broadridge Case Study
Large Insurance Provider, a large insurance company, needed to close its in-house print-and-mail facility while evolving customer communications, reducing operating and postal expenses, avoiding major capital investment, and preparing for changing regulations. The company selected Broadridge to help outsource its customer communications production, including policies, letters, statements, checks, contracts, regulatory pieces, and corporate communications.
Broadridge moved the client’s production operations into its own facilities with minimal change to existing output, preserving the same look and feel while laying the groundwork for future digital and full-color solutions. Broadridge also produced extensive documentation for 3,900 applications, completed side-by-side acceptance testing, and relocated some equipment over a weekend to keep production on schedule. The result was a successful conversion that exceeded the aggressive closure goal, enabling Large Insurance Provider to rely on Broadridge’s award-winning production facilities and quality programs for more than 60 million packages annually.
