ICON Fitness, the parent company for brands like NordicTrack, Pro-Form, Weider and Gold’s Gym, needed to unify multiple regional and brand sites under centralized control while preserving geographic and catalog independence and improving system performance. To meet these challenges they turned to Broadleaf Commerce, deploying Broadleaf’s Multi‑Site solution along with its PIM, CMS, OMS, Search, Cart and Checkout feature sets.

Broadleaf Commerce migrated more than 20 global sites onto a single codebase and administrative console, enabling “write once, deploy everywhere” workflows and shared content/catalog management. The result: site speed doubled, application performance improved 2–4x versus the legacy platform, deployments that once took 1–2 hours now complete in about six minutes, and the platform demonstrated support for up to a 500% increase in orders‑per‑minute.
