LGT Group Automates Avaloq Workload with Automic® Automation

LGT Group, a wealth and asset management group, faced the challenge of modernizing its IT systems by migrating to the Avaloq banking platform. They needed to automate the scheduling of Avaloq jobs, integrate it with over 20 external applications, and centrally manage this workload across a global wide area network environment. To address this, they turned to vendor Broadcom for its Automic Workload Automation solution.

Broadcom implemented its Automic Workload Automation enterprise scheduler, which included a certified adapter for Avaloq. This provided LGT with centralized control and end-to-end visibility over all its systems, allowing for dynamic workload management and automated error recovery. The solution resulted in increased throughput for Avaloq jobs, significantly fewer errors, reduced recovery times, and the ability to smooth out processing demand spikes, minimizing their impact.
