The solution, implemented by Broadcom, involved Symantec Director and Symantec ProxySG. This provided integrated security and WAN optimization, which increased bandwidth tenfold. The project resulted in a significant improvement in the performance of business-critical applications and a tenfold reduction in technical support calls related to application performance.
