URBN Secures Its Supply Chain Centers with Cloud-based Access Control

Urban Outfitters, Inc. (URBN), a global retail portfolio with over 562 stores and 23,000 employees, needed to modernize and standardize physical security across its large, distributed operations. Facing a legacy platform that couldn’t scale, URBN turned to Brivo and its cloud-based access control solution (Brivo Access) to provide a modern, user-friendly way to secure distribution centers and other facilities.

Brivo upgraded and consolidated URBN’s sites onto Brivo Access, using APIs and integrations (including Active Directory) to digitize visitor check-in, enable remote management, and add features like built-in visitor screening and digital signatures for special zones. The Brivo deployment now covers all call centers and distribution centers, delivering a single view across locations, reduced operational costs through remote capabilities, and greater security-team efficiency so staff can focus on core responsibilities.
