The Department of Public Enterprise (DPE), the South African Government’s shareholder representative for state-owned companies, needed to better control document branding, reduce the risk of staff sending out incorrect files, and speed up access to key materials. Working with Britehouse, using the CompuBrand brand management solution, DPE aimed to standardize logos, fonts, styles, and document templates across the organization.

Britehouse implemented the solution centrally with Altris, integrating it with DPE’s existing Hummingbird document management system and Microsoft Office. The result was consistent branded documents, faster access with a 2-click process instead of 6 clicks, productivity improvements of up to 80%, reduced server and email attachment usage, and better compliance and risk control through tracking and permission-based access.
