Municipal Mutual Insurance Company, a regional property & casualty carrier founded in 1910, faced outdated, paper-based processes, limited visibility from legacy core systems, and high document storage and processing costs that were hindering growth and agency relationships. To modernize and enable digital operations, they chose BriteCore’s cloud-native policy administration suite (hosted on AWS), including Policies and Claims modules and the BriteQuote web quoting service.

BriteCore implemented a fully managed core, data, and digital platform that moved MMIC to paperless workflows, self-service quoting, configurable products, and key integrations. Since going live in 2012 MMIC’s direct written premium and policy count have risen every year; agencies writing over $100K increased from 34 to 62 and formerly lost agencies returned; audit times dropped about 67% (from ~6 months to <2); and printing/postage savings recouped the BriteCore investment in nine months.
