PMC–Sierra, a semiconductor and software solutions innovator, faced a complex analytics landscape with multiple BI systems and data sources that caused long report load times and delayed decision-making. PMC needed a consolidated enterprise-wide data warehouse solution, and Bristlecone was brought in using SAP BW, HANA, and QlikView.

Bristlecone implemented a global EDW that consolidated SAP BW, MS SQL, and FoxPro into a single reporting environment and centralized non-SAP data from vendors and distributors. QlikView was deployed for CXO reporting and business-unit reporting, improving order fulfillment tracking and supply chain analysis while phasing out legacy warehouses.
