R1 Indoor Karting, a large indoor family entertainment venue, partnered with the booking software vendor Briq Bookings just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge was to find a way to manage reservations and adhere to new social distancing and capacity guidelines while continuing to operate.

Briq Bookings provided a multi-activity booking and scheduling platform that allowed R1 to offer online reservations, space out bookings, and create combination packages. The solution from Briq Bookings helped ensure social distancing and led to significant growth; online sales in 2021 were five times higher than in 2020, and Briq’s software came to account for over 50% of the venue's revenue.
