Northamptonshire County Council, a midsize two‑tier shire authority responsible for services like education and highways, faced inconsistent project delivery because PRINCE2 principles were not applied consistently across staff. BrightWork worked with the council to customize SharePoint templates pre‑populated with mandatory project milestones, a checklist to enforce protocol, and an auto‑included document library for required evidence. The BrightWork solution made milestone completion visible to senior managers (who can now see at a glance which milestones are met or missed), enforced adherence to council procedures, and increased openness, accountability and consistency across all projects—helping less experienced project managers follow established processes.
